the rim light shader is wrote by me using Cocos Creator 3D last year.
Now,I’m planning to upgrade it to Cocos Creator v3.4, which will come soon.
once I finished, it will be very easy to use.
if you want to use it at this moment. I have some tips can help you upgrading it quickly.
- make a copy of builtin-standard.effect from internal assets in Cocos Creator (just take a look the assets area, you can find it easily)
2.just follow the steps mentioned in section 3. Realization of RimLight of the article
3.simply add the shader code lines into your copied standard effect.
4.create a new material and choose your new effect as the effect file.
