How does the skybox works in Unity?


When you setup say a 6-sided skybox onto your scene, you can effectively try to reach the skybox using the scene view navigation but you will never be able to do so.

Basically it appears that the skybox moves with the user, hence why you can’t reach it.

Is this correct or is there a different mechanism at work?
